Templates! Templates! Templates!

Seasoned or new teachers all know: the big O - Organization - is a key factor to the success of both teachers and students throughout the year. So whether you are new to getting organized at this point in your school year or you feel like your system is not working, I've got some things to help you get set up for success!

Check out some of my templates:

1. Assignment Checking Template

This is an excel template that can be used for tracking assignments. I would print one for each subject or section (if teaching the same subject for multiple sections), write the assignment, date, and due date for each assignment, and then enter the students scores. This way I had a paper copy for when doing paper grades, and a backup file for checking any issues with assignment scores and grades. I like to make and print excel files for checking assignments.

Why?

1. They are easy to reproduce and edit.

2. Straight, neat lines for easy checking.

3. They Can be printed and sized up or down quite easily.

You can download this file here for free!

2. Scope and Sequence Quarterly Planning Template:

This is a great resource for long-term planning. Use this template to input an overview of your quarter, so you can plan around holidays, special days, exams, etc. You can hand this out to the students as well so they get a helpful overview of what to expect throughout the quarter. It also helps show parents what you will be covering in this term.

Template can be found here!

3. Daily Lesson Planning Template

This Template is another printable template used for writing daily lesson plans. After an overview is completed, each day's lesson should be planned out and prepared including the objectives and activities for that day. This simple weekly planning template can help any teacher get their head in the game for the week ahead.

Template can be downloaded here!

I hope these templates helped you out! Teachers need to help one another with organization and shared resources. These resources were invaluable to me when approaching planning and prep for my classes!
